Design
Innovative Porting – The Torque's visually striking appearance comes from its distinctive cut-outs on the frame, spool, drag knob, and reel foot. These aren't just cosmetic, as this design significantly reduces weight while maintaining rigidity and structural strength. Rounded spool and frame rims enhance durability, helping the reel withstand hard impacts in tough angling conditions, while a highly ventilated spool and frame balance beautifully with today's lightweight rods and allows your backing to dry quickly after long days in the water.

Finish
Anodized Finish – The Torque is finished with a corrosion-resistant anodized coating built to handle harsh environments. From freshwater rivers to saltwater shores, the protective finish resists wear, impact, and corrosion, ensuring long-term durability.

Machined 6061 Aluminum Construction – Precision-machined from 6061 aluminum, Galvan's Torque delivers strength and corrosion-resistance without unnecessary bulk. Maximum porting reduces weight while preserving rigidity, and Galvan's TruBalance system ensures smooth spool  rotation. EZ Grip ergonomics enhance control, while the contoured, counterbalanced spool creates fluid performance with every turn. The integration of T² design elements and PBR architecture further reinforces the reel's engineering.

Torque Drag System with microTune Precision – The Torque Series was the first to feature Galvan's now-signature Torque Drag System, engineered to provide more substantial drag power than previously available. The microTune drag knob allows for precise, incremental adjustments, giving anglers total control whether protecting light tippets or stopping powerful saltwater runs. Reliable engagement and refined simplicity make the drag system both powerful and hassle-free.

Warranty
Galvan Warranty – Galvan reels are backed by a lifetime manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and conditions. Normal wear, misuse, or damage resulting from improper maintenance are not covered, and Galvan reserves the right to repair or replace components at their discretion.
