USA Shipping

Economy Shipping is FREE for most orders over $49 and typically arrives in about one week. This ships via the carrier of our choice and you must use an address that receives USPS mail. If you cannot receive USPS, please select an expedited method at checkout.

  • Backorders and split shipments always ship free when the original order qualified for free shipping and/or was paid for.
  • Expedited options and prices are calculated at checkout.

Oversized Items

Oversized items do not qualify for free shipping. Shipping will be calculated at checkout.

Order Processing & Cutoffs

  • Business days only: We ship orders on business days when our warehouse is open.
  • Same-day attempts: Orders placed early in the day often ship the same business day; otherwise, they ship the next business day.
  • Holiday & weather delays: Carriers may suspend guarantees during peak seasons or severe weather.
  • Address corrections: Once an order is in transit, we may be unable to change the address. If a change is possible, carrier fees may apply.
  • PO Boxes & APO/FPO: Use an address that can receive USPS for Economy service; otherwise, choose an expedited option.

International Orders

We love shipping internationally, and some orders even qualify for FREE International Shipping. We prepay taxes and duties on all international orders. That means no surprise bills before delivery and faster arrival. This is required for all international purchases, and as a result, we do not use USPS for international parcels.

By placing an international order, you agree to the following:

  • If you refuse, return, or abandon a package, you are responsible for all return shipping charges.
  • We prepay duties and taxes; however, there may be additional local fees outside our control. Trident Fly Fishing is not responsible for such fees.
  • We ship to most countries worldwide.

Lost Package Policy

We want you to receive your order without worry.

A package is considered lost if:

  • The carrier confirms it will not be delivered, or
  • There are no tracking updates for 10 business days (domestic) or 20 business days (international).

Our Promise

  • If your package is lost, we will reship your order at no additional cost. Refunds are only issued in rare cases where reshipment is not possible.

Delivered but missing? Once the carrier shows Delivered, the package is generally not considered lost. Please check around the delivery area, ask household members/neighbors, and allow 24 hours. If still missing, contact us and our team will help investigate with the carrier.

Damaged, Incorrect, or Short Shipments

  • Report within 7 days of delivery for visible damage, missing items, or incorrect items so we can make it right quickly.
  • Please keep all packaging and take photos of the box and contents; carriers often require these for claims.
  • We may send replacements or arrange a return label depending on the issue.

More Details & Policies

Carrier Selection & Signatures
We reserve the right to choose the carrier at our discretion (this helps keep your shipping cost low). We may require a signature on certain packages. If you need a signature required/waived, contact us before the order ships.
Split Shipments & Backorders
When an order contains multiple shipments, additional shipments are free if the original order qualified for free shipping and/or was paid for.
Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. If an order is returned due to an incorrect or undeliverable address, we'll help reship; additional postage may apply. Address changes after shipment may incur carrier fees and are not always possible.
Freight Forwarders
Shipments sent to freight forwarders are delivered upon successful delivery to the forwarder's address. We're happy to assist, but responsibility for onward international transit rests with the forwarder/customer.
Delivery Timing
Posted transit times are estimates and not guarantees. Carriers may experience delays due to weather, peak volume, customs, or operational issues.
